Over the last years, Play31 has driven a range of girls peace clubs with great success
In the peace clubs, adolescent girls learn about their rights and basic skills for taking care of and responsibility for their own lives.
The girls in the rural areas where Play31 works are very exposed to vulnerabilities. In order for them to be able to assume leadership roles—and to stand up for their rights and those of their peers—they are trained as advocates and agents of change. We hope to be able to expand this part of our programme both in order to reach more girls, and to include boys in our work promoting the empowerment and rights of women and girls.
This video tell you a bit more about our Play31 Clubs.
